| Description: Gen. D. Antonio Lopez de Santa
Anna's men outnumbered Col. William Travis' troops
6,000 to 200. Before noon on March 6th, 1836, Travis,
Jim Bowie, David Crockett and the remaining defenders
fell, making the ultimate sacrifice for their families
and the future of the Republic of Texas.
The Alamo Bowie celebrates the Alamo and Jim Bowie.
The hand-turned handle is taken from a large limb of a
live oak that grows on the Alamo grounds. The familiar
blade is 14" long and is crafted from high-carbon
steel, hand-forged over a 10-day period. The blade is
engraved on both sides with historical tributes to the
men who fought and died at the Alamo. On each side is
a single gold star for the fabled Lone Star of Texas.
It is engraved with "Give Me Help, Oh my
Country," and has a certificate of authenticity.
Only 1,836 will be made, representing the year of the
Battle of the Alamo.
