The magnetic base meets Little League Baseball® Rule 1.06 regarding “bases that disengage their anchor.” The rubber-molded base is designed to “breakaway” on impact from an improper or fast slide, preventing severe injuries. The magnetic safety base includes magnetic fixture with shear plates for three different levels of break force, base with universal steel stanchion, and one-year warranty on the magnetic fixture. Available in regulation size (15” x 15” x 3”) only. Sold per base.
