For gun owners who want maintenance done in minutes rather than an hour at the bench, this Hoppe's kit packages the brand's full 1-2-3 Done! system into a single clamshell built specifically for 9mm and .38/.357 caliber pistols. The kit includes Hoppe's legendary No. 9 Gun Bore Cleaner along with the patented BoreSnake bore cleaning tool, plus a bottle of lubricating oil and easy-to-understand photo directions. The caliber-specific BoreSnake is the standout piece here, pulling double duty as brush and swab in one pass and offering 160x more surface area than standard cleaning patches , so fouling comes out faster than with a traditional rod-and-patch routine. The process is as simple as running the snake through the bore, then swabbing the barrel and adding a few drops of the No. 9 lubricating oil before the gun is ready for storage . Because this clamshell kit is caliber-matched to 9mm/.38/.357 pistols only, double-check your handgun's chambering before ordering to make sure the included BoreSnake and accessories fit your bore diameter.
