The Schutt Splash Shield is designed to protect football players from droplets. The shield has been approved by NHSF. • The shield will not prevent COVID19 from entering the mask or face area • The shield is not intended to replace a facemask (cloth) or visor (fingers/protection of the eyes) • It is for “Splash” from droplets (ie: sweat/cough/sneeze)\Provides additional protection from droplets/liquid • It helps protect from a vast majority of liquid discharge (not smaller particles through the air) • It is removable and disposable • It does not alter the physical properties or performance of the helmet or facemask • Non rigid vinyl not likely to cause injury To prevent fogging, you will need to apply a small amount of detergent (Dawn) on a cloth and rub on the shield.
