This extended Improved Modified choke tube from Browning's Invector-DS lineup is built specifically for 20 gauge shotguns using the Invector-DS barrel system, and won't fit guns marked for standard Invector or Invector-Plus threading. Invector-DS tubes fit only Browning shotguns designed for Invector-DS and are not for use in shotguns showing Invector-Plus or Standard Invector on the barrel(s) . The standout feature is Browning's double-seal design—a differential-banded seal that compresses against the barrel wall, and this keeps the choke tube threads cleaner while making installation and removal noticeably easier than conventional muzzle thread systems. This extended choke tube adds approximately 3/4" to the overall length of the barrel , extending past the muzzle for easier handling and, according to Browning, some of the most consistent, tight patterns in the company's choke tube history. The Improved Modified constriction is a versatile middle-ground choke well suited to upland birds and other wingshooting where a moderately tight pattern is desired.
