Hornady 444 Marlin 265gr LevRev /20

Hornady's LEVERevolution .444 Marlin 265gr FTX load (item #82744) is built specifically to unlock extra performance from lever-action rifles that use tubular magazines. Its patented elastomer Flex Tip bullet design lets the ammo function like a spitzer-profile round while remaining safe against primer strikes in the magazine tube, something conventional pointed bullets can't do in this platform. Safe to use in tubular magazines, these bullets feature higher ballistic coefficients and deliver dramatically flatter trajectory for increased down range performance. LEVERevolution ammunition outperforms conventional loads for high weight retention, delivering up to 40% more energy than traditional flat point bullets, and it also picks up meaningful extra velocity over old-style flat-nose .444 Marlin loads. One thing to check before buying: the innovative LEVERevolution FTX and MonoFlex bullet designs may require a newer magazine follower to provide best possible functioning of the last round out of the magazine in certain guns. Each box contains 20 rounds of new-production, boxer-primed brass-cased ammunition suited to hunters looking for flatter-shooting performance out of their .444 Marlin lever gun.
