Hornady 460S&W 200gr FTX Ammo /20

Hornady's Custom .460 S&W Magnum 200 gr FTX load (item #9152) is a 20-round box of centerfire handgun ammunition built for shooters who demand serious accuracy paired with real knockdown power in this big-bore revolver caliber. The FTX projectile with patented Flex Tip bullet technology delivers improved accuracy, flat trajectories, and deep penetration, and is safe to shoot in tubular magazines as well as any other firearm. Hornady selects brass to meet high standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness, and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures, while each primer is carefully matched to individual loads and specifically selected for reliable, complete ignition of the powder charge. This load is rated at 2200 fps muzzle velocity and 2149 lb/ft of muzzle energy, with a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.151 and sectional density of 0.14 , making it well-suited for medium game (50 to 300 lb) and large game (300 to 1500 lb) hunting applications with a .460 S&W Magnum handgun. As with all Hornady Custom ammunition, every round is hand inspected before packaging to ensure the highest levels of quality control, giving shooters and hunters the advantage of hand-loaded accuracy in a factory load.
