Hornady 480 Ruger 325gr XTP Mag /20

Hornady's Custom Handgun line pairs the .480 Ruger cartridge with a 325-grain XTP Mag (eXtreme Terminal Performance) jacketed hollow point bullet, giving shooters a factory load built to the same standards Hornady applies to hand-loaded ammunition. Each cartridge is loaded to ensure optimal pressure, velocity and consistency from lot to lot, and each primer is carefully matched to individual loads and selected for reliable ignition of the powder charge. The XTP bullet itself is engineered with controlled expansion where six serrations divide the bullet into six symmetrical sections , delivering the deep penetration and reliable knockdown power that makes this load suited to hunting and other demanding handgun applications. Hornady produces most of the brass used in this Custom pistol ammo, and other brass is chosen to meet high standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness, and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures. Each box (item #9138) contains 20 rounds of brass-cased, boxer-primed .480 Ruger ammunition, with a rated muzzle velocity of 1,350 fps and muzzle energy of 1,315 ft-lbs.
