Hornady 7mm-08 120gr SST LITE /20

Hornady's Custom Lite line is built for shooters who want the accuracy and reliability of a proven hunting bullet without the punishing recoil that can come with full-power loads. This 7mm-08 Remington load pairs a 120-grain Hornady SST bullet — featuring a sleek polymer tip on a secant ogive, boattail design for a flatter trajectory and controlled, rapid expansion on impact — with lighter bullet weights and tailored propellant charges to noticeably cut felt recoil and muzzle blast versus standard 7mm-08 ammunition. It's designed to provide reduced recoil and muzzle blast from the most popular calibers, putting the fun back into shooting for every shooter looking to keep recoil to a minimum while still enjoying the use of their favorite rifle. The bullet's Interlock ring helps ensure the core and jacket stay locked together during expansion for dependable terminal performance. Rated at 2675 fps muzzle velocity and 1907 lb/ft of muzzle energy from a 24" test barrel, with a ballistic coefficient of 0.365 , this load is well suited to medium game hunting, especially for recoil-sensitive shooters, younger hunters, or anyone wanting to spend more comfortable time behind the rifle. Each box contains 20 rounds of brass-cased ammunition (Hornady item #80572).
