Sierra's Pro-Hunter .270 Caliber 130gr SPT (part #1830) is a component bullet designed for handloaders seeking proven accuracy and dependable terminal performance on medium game. This bullet frequently gives half minute-of-angle groups when loaded to near maximum loads in 270 caliber rifle cartridges, and it is also an ideal selection for medium game at ranges up to 400 yards. Its standout feature is the double taper jacket construction for good penetration and dependable expansion on medium game , paired with a traditional flat base design that Sierra has long paired with its reputation for accuracy. At .277" diameter with a sectional density of .242, this bullet is sized specifically for .270 caliber rifle cartridges. Sold in boxes of 100, these are component bullets only — not loaded ammunition — so buyers will need to supply their own cases, primers, and powder for reloading.
