Sierra's 125gr 9mm (.355) Full Metal Jacket bullet, part #8120, is a reloading component—not loaded ammunition—designed for handloaders assembling their own 9mm handgun cartridges. This 125 grain #8120 bullet was Sierra's first 9mm FMJ, introduced in 1981. The main design criterion for these bullets was reliable feeding in semi-auto handguns, and they achieve that to perfection , making them a solid choice for competitive and recreational shooters loading for standard 9mm pistols. Each bullet has a sectional density of .142, with published ballistic coefficients of .115 at 1200 fps and above, .160 between 1200–1000 fps, and .180 below 1000 fps, giving handloaders the data needed for accurate trajectory calculations. Before purchasing, buyers should confirm their handgun cartridge actually uses .355 inch diameter bullets, since not all 9mm cartridges share that same bullet diameter ; each box contains 100 bullets ready for reloading, sold separately from cases, primers, and powder.
