For users who desire a muzzle brake instead of a flash hider, YHM offers this Q.D. Mount muzzle brake for its Light Tactical .30 Cal. Sound Suppression Systems. Since sound suppressors naturally work as a muzzle brake, this Q.D. mount helps decrease recoil of the host firearm when the suppressor is not in use. It's compatible with all 1.375"-24 HUB capable suppressors utilizing YHM's Phantom Q.D. Adapter (YHM-3060), including the Fat Cat, Turbo T2, Turbo T3, Turbo K, Turbo K-RB, Resonator R2, Resonator RK, and Nitro N2O, as well as legacy .30 caliber suppressors like the Phantom .30, Phantom LT/LTA, Nitro, and Resonator gen. 1 — though it will not accommodate the Phantom 5.56mm, Phantom 5.56 M2, or Turbo gen. 1 sound suppressors . A shim kit is included to simplify installation and timing, and the brake carries a durable black Melonite finish for corrosion resistance in field use.
