Aguila's 1CHB2838 is a standard-velocity 28 gauge field/birdshot load built for dove, quail, and other upland hunting, along with light clay work. Each 2.75" shell carries a 1-ounce payload of #8 lead shot at a muzzle velocity of 1200 fps , giving a dense pattern well-suited to smaller-framed game birds and closer-range targets. The 1-ounce, #8 shot, 28-gauge, 2-3/4-inch configuration makes it well suited for hunting dove and quail . The reduced payload and modest velocity of the 28 gauge translate to noticeably lighter recoil than 12 or 20 gauge loads, making this a good choice for shooters who want an easier-shooting round for long days afield or repetitive clay practice. This case pack bundles 20 boxes of 25 rounds each for a 500-round supply, so buyers should confirm their 28-gauge shotgun is chambered for 2.75" shells before stocking up in bulk.
