Scaled down from Cold Steel's full-size Hand-and-a-Half Sword but nearly identical in appearance, this dagger is built as a true companion piece for cut-and-thrust use as well as off-hand defensive work. Modeled as a companion piece to Cold Steel's full-size Hand-and-a-Half Sword, this dagger shares the same striking medieval design in a more compact, easy-to-handle package. It features a 13-inch blade with a 6 1/4-inch handle and an overall length of 19 1/4 inches , forged from tough, high-carbon 1055 steel that holds an edge well while standing up to hard use. The leather-wrapped handle is finished with a nickel silver guard and pommel , giving it a historically accurate look along with real heft and balance in the hand. It offers an authentic medieval sword design for collection and display with a usable sharp edge , and can double as an off-hand defensive tool when paired with a larger blade. It ships with a wood scabbard covered in leather, fitted with steel hardware to protect the edge and keep the dagger secure when not in use.
