The Cold Steel Scottish Dirk (88SD) is a full-size fighting dirk built for genuine use, not the flimsy costume-prop versions common on the market. The 13" long, 1½" wide blade is forged to a hard spring temper from 1055 high carbon steel, fully sharpened and battle-ready. The handle is capped with a contrasting blued-steel guard, bolster and disc-shaped pommel , giving it a traditional Highland look with durable, functional fittings. A handsome leather scabbard completes the package, featuring a blued-steel throat and chape and an extra wide belt loop for secure carry on a belt.
